New Zealand has rich sailing heritage and one of the highest ownership of boats per capita in the world (estimated at 1 in 3). Yet surprisingly, in the late 90's, there was no retail outlet solely dedicated to selling nautical gifts, décor and memorabilia.
All At Sea came about as a result of the owners having a passion for "all things nautical" as well as from living in one of the most wonderful boating cities in the world, Auckland known as the "City of Sails".
All At Sea established in 1998. As a nautical gifts outlet, All At Sea is located in Downtown Shopping Centre in close proximity to Auckland’s vibrant Viaduct Basin, the home of the Team New Zealand's America's Cup campaigns in 1999 and 2003.
Ideally located for the growing number of tourists visiting these shores, All At Sea soon became a mecca for keen "boaties" and it wasn't unusual to have people "browsing" for hours on end in the store!
And now, nine years down the slipway and in response to customer needs, we have made some significant improvements to our on-line shopping and are delighted with the launch of our new website www.allatseaonline.com
